"With Elektromorph X the
electronic edge becomes a
fader you can push, not a
sound you are stuck with."
Elektromorph X carries the spirit of two MoReVoX classics into a new generation: 20 kicks
and 20 snares with the weight, dynamics and natural decay of real drums and an electronic
edge. Every hit comes with its own in-phase Distortion channel. 40 GOGs and 960 samples
for Trigger2 & Drumagog 6.
Elektromorph X is a drum replacement library of 20 kicks and 20 snares for Drumagog 6.
It is born from the heritage of two MoReVoX classics, Elektromorph I and Elektromorph II:
the same spirit, twenty years later.
Every program is a complete instrument with six velocity layers, two round robins per layer and two
channels.
The Direct is the drum itself: body, attack and natural decay.
The Distortion is a distorted twin of every hit, sample-aligned and in phase with the Direct,
shaped to add crispness, harmonics and presence without touching the body.
In Drumagog 6 the Direct plays in the DIRECT channel and the Distortion in a room channel named
“Distortion”, at −12 dB by default, so the Direct always leads (In Trigger2 is on 2 Channels)
Raise it for bite, mute it for the pure sound: the two add up without phase cancellation at any setting.
Four distortion characters give each program its own color:
TUBE for warm, rounded saturation,
FUZZ for hard-clipped aggression, FOLD for metallic overtones and CRUSH for lo-fi digital grit.
The kicks run from long, deep booms of up to 2 seconds to short, punchy hits under half a second.
The snares run from dark, tuned-down bodies to bright, open cracks with natural wire buzz. Use
them to replace a weak take, to reinforce a good one, or as the start of a sound nobody else has.
